All Wrapped Up...

Today was a day filled with running around and getting all the last minute Christmas things done. Buying the roast, and the pies, and the candy for the stocking. I was out shopping in the holiday madness from 11am till 4:30pm. After putting everything away and cooking dinner it was time to wrap everything and start displaying it under the tree. I didn't get to finish everything but we always like to save some things from Santa :) There is the lil bug sitting in front of the Christmas tree after decorated it a couple weeks ago. Can't wait till we take pictures on Christmas morning. That is all I have for today. My dinner came out superb!! And it is late so I am just getting to eat and then off to bed. I am sure tomorrow will be a similar day of last minute run arounds.

A day of scheduling

Well having to deal with day to day things, waking up to get Becca off to school, feeding the dog, and studying is a lot for me these days. Adding the scheduling I have spent doing these past few days leaves not much room for anything more than sleep at the end of the day. Planning a short trip home, spending hours online procing airflights can really give you a headache. But now that it is done, booked and confirmed I can enjoy the anxiety building of seeing old friends and family again. Also spent hours on the phone scheduling Dr.'s appts. for Becca. She is due, or overdue to see all of those wonderful Specialists. Cardiac, Pulmonary, G.I., Dentist, Genetics, and if that isn't enough...having to grill the internet for an hour or two trying to find a new Primary Pediatrician in our new area we have moved to. Was no sooner finished with all this, and here comes Becca home from school. Walked the dog to the bus stop to meet her, and Domino proudly walks us home carrying her book bag the whole way. Getting in the door, making dinner, cleaning up, answering last minute emails, and lets not forget that phone that keeps on ringing.....the only blessing tonight is that there is no homework for tomorrow she has her Holiday party to celebrate the last day of school before Christmas. Christmas is another thing, is anyone ever done in time for Christmas? After no homework was established, we walked Domino to the store to buy treats and soda for the school holiday party tomorrow. It was nice, not to cold tonight as it has been. It was good to go out and walk in the fresh air, clear my head. The bed is now calling me...
